JD Vance takes 'Worst VP pick EVER!' crown from Sarah Palin, and gets less likable every day

(USA Today) That’s it, folks, I’m calling it: Let it be known, in September of the year 2024, that JD Vance ‒ aka “The Bearded Weird” ‒ is officially the worst vice presidential candidate pick in all of U.S. history.

Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, please turn in your crown. Vance will accept it while saying something unfunny that makes normal people feel uncomfortable. It's kind of his thing.

With a seemingly endless stream of “previous podcast appearances” in which he speaks of women as faceless baby pods and with ongoing public appearances that show him struggling with the basics of human interaction, Vance has proved himself almost staggeringly unlikable.

He’s the guy nobody wants to get stuck next to at the office party. Or at the bar. Or in the grocery store line. Or anywhere, really.

The two seem to have a close relationship. Jr. is also just stupid enough to support Vance.

Was that Cantaloupe Caligula the Corpulent was in favor of one of the other “candidates,” but Dumb and Dumber talked Caligula into picking J Divan Vance.

Barron rarely eats with his…umm…male parental unit.*

*Cantaloupe Caligula the Corpulent isn’t worthy of the title of father. Most likely, Dolt45 was disinterested, at best.

And this description of Sarah Palin: “…little more than a reality television contestant in search of a low-rated show.”

This piece is well written and studded with memorable zingers. Fun read — thanks for posting.

That’s a fairly smack-able thing to say. And it demonstrates Vance’s unique skill of sounding smug, sexist, faux intellectual, lonely, tragic and dumb all at once.

I think a lot of conservatives are like this. They just imagine what something must be like, and then present it as fact and try to base public policy on it. And in this case, it really illuminates what must be Vance's own miserable-ness as HE continually tries to get more people to think like him. Same old projection and hypocrisy that are hallmarks of the GOP brand.

They probably have all gone home to hump the couch wondering what took them so long to think of it. Seriously our SOS just made an emergency rule that says only the voter on the absentee ballot can drop it into the box at the BOE. If you have four voters at home all of you have to drive in the car to drop them off!!! Almost a year ago voters passed Constitutional changes to incorporate women’s reproductive rights with 57% of the voters support! It has taken months to implement the changes because the State Legislature that is heavily gerrymandered is trying to screw with the verbiage. They have zero scruples. That being said I like your idea. If we get the gerrymandering passed for the third time in November maybe the State Supreme Court will force compliance and then the voters can boot JD to the street corner!

Running neck-and-neck with Palin in the “Ooof, that was a bad VP pick” category is former Democratic vice presidential nominee Tim Kaine...

Tim Kaine may not have been the most charismatic candidate Hillary Clinton could have chosen, but unlike Palin, Kaine showed evidence that he can read and write. He clearly went to school and paid attention. He knows how the legislative process works. He wasn't trying to draw attention away from his running mate, as though it was reality TV. He didn't quit his office after losing the election to extend his concluded welcome on the speaking circuit. And he supported decent policies. So it's not even close.
