Sen. Rick Scott(R-Fla.), left, and former Rep. Debbie Mucarsel-Powell (D-Fla.) are in a tight race for Florida’s Senate seat.

Incumbent Sen. Rick Scott (R-Fla.) is leading former Rep. Debbie Mucarsel-Powell (D-Fla.) by about 3 points in his race to keep his seat, a recent new St. Pete Polls survey found.

In the survey for FloridaPolitics.com, Mucarsel-Powell garnered 45.6 percent support from Sunshine State likely general election voters to Scott’s 48.8 percent. Around 6 percent of the surveyed voters said they were “undecided” or wouldn’t “say” who they were backing.

on that poll. 3% seems like it could easily fall within that range.
