Climate change is happening, and absolutely zero credible scientists deny that it is, and will continue to do so. You don't have to believe that its human-induced due to fossil fuel use (which it IS, according to like 98% of experts), but you better believe it is HAPPENING. And it absolutely SHOULD matter to the US Military, esp. because pre-planning to ensure future readiness is a huge part of what they do. Climate change could cause MASSIVE disruptions to the societal order sparking rebellions and massive waves of refugees. Ports, airfields, bases and training facilities all over the world could become unusable. The governments of nuclear powers like India and Pakistan could be toppled, in no small part because they are going to be hit HARD by climate change (already are actually). Might need the help of the Army Corps of Engineers to shore up cities on US soil. And on and on and on.

The military just up and deciding to be climate change deniers as a matter of policy could have very, very grave consequences, and frankly should be ILLEGAL. It's borderline TRAITOROUS, in fact
