How old are you?

I’m curious as to the age of my fellow DUers. I’m 39 so I’m an old millennial.

So I guess I'm a younger member of the Silent Generation.

The generational age ranges are inexact in my mind.

Those born between 1946 and 1964. The Silent Generation was born between 1928 and 1945.

3. If you get a large number of DUer's responding, I think the age will skew in the 60 - 80 range.

DU was launched in January 2001. That was 22 years ago. If a majority of new members who joined in the 1st couple of years, were in the 40- 70 age range, they would now be in the 60+ age range. Yes many members have since joined, but the membership foundation was laid back in the early 2000's.

New enrollments since then would have added across the age spectrum, but even with some older DUer's leaving or passing on, I would think that 60+ group would be the majority. It will be interesting to see.
