The cover pointed out that the last year that could be read upside-down was 1881. Memorable.

a lot of us.
That you remember that detail after 63 years says a lot.
I still think in Don Martin's sound effects.

... until Don Martin had a dispute with Mad management and moved to Cracked.
Today's website is a pale shadow of what was.

They make a lot of lists, silly, thoughtful, even informative.

Vampires, werewolves, ghouls, and Poe-esque tales.
That sort of material.
