She looks younger now than 20 yrs ago. She's fear friends with Christopher Walken.
This is def an Italian-cooking show I recommend. Catch it if you can. Women restauranteurs were rare when she opened her own place

(10,649 posts)I can translate a lot of her recipes to my own kitchen. Some of the fish, well, can't get them here, but other stuff, yeah. And we buy olive oil by the humongous bottle at Costco, so never run out.

(8,236 posts)but one of the PBS stations in the Atlanta area where I am (we have two) carries a block of cooking shows on Saturday mornings and afternoons, one of which is Lidia's. I enjoy all those shows...just haven't been watching them recently because I've been following the Olympics.

Channel. I love her immigration shows. Usually she does this for Xmas and it seems she started doing them to counter Trump and his anti imitation bs. I was surprised to see she made her marinara sauce the same way mky dad taught Mr. Especially the trick of carmalizing the tomato paste by pushing the meat out of the center of the pan and smashing your paste into the center and just leave alone till it starts to brown. Then add sauce and water and reduce.
