I'm thinking hard about moving there next year. The rents are expensive, but they're cheap compared to NYC. Was just there for a couple of days. Seems like a real nice area. Good access to the subway. Nice places to eat.

(83 posts)Your age will probably determine how much you would like it. The younger you are the more you would like. Very walkable. No car necessary. If you are older, it might be too busy and noisy for you.

If I can survive in NYC, I can handle Arlington at least for a little while.

(8,629 posts)Easy to get to DC via metro or walk across the Key Bridge to Georgetown. Restaurants, pubs, bars easy to get to the kennedy center. All in all a pretty good spot in the DC area.
