I remember watching the original series in 1990. I'm just getting around to re-watching the whole thing again including the new show on Showtime.
I just finished the first episode, and it's crazy how different the show was from regular network TV at the time. Also, the German TV show Dark on Netflix which was a huge hit here in the US steals a ton from Twin Peaks. I mean it's almost beat for beat in the first season.

I just read that Agents Cooper, Mulder, and Scully all exist in the same universe. Would love a cross over movie.

I loved absolutely everything about this show.
David Lynch, Angelo Badalamenti (composer), the way it was filmed, the colors, the characters, thought Dana Ashbrook was a hottie!
Innovative TV at it's best.

(27,237 posts)Original series on ABC through the Showtime finale. My favorite segment of the series was Twin Peaks: Come Fire Walk With Me. Sure, it had its flaws, but I have a thing for backstories.
