My own dogs are no longer with me, but I get plenty of delightful doggie energy from my furry clients. They live 100% in the present. Such great role models!

My dogs are no longer with me either. I still cry for them. My last one died 3 years ago.

Dogs are the best.

There is nothing like a furry little bed buddy. Or as I have this week, a sweet pair of pups (who actually crowd me out a bit -- a fun problem as problems go).

I moved to Seattle in 2015 with O.D. (Other Dog) and d.d. (dinky dog). Lost O.D. in 2018 and d.d. in 2020 (image)

I’m so jonesing for another dog. It’s been a couple years since The Mighty Zeppelin crossed the rainbow bridge. I miss him so much. And his feet that smelled like Frito’s! Crazy. And he was a prick! Ruined my carpet (scratched to go out, ya know, when it was convenient), food thief, bed hog, barked at any noise outside no matter how minuscule, and I can’t tell you how many times he put me in between his little 13# ass and a 50-150# dog! Thanks dude!

But he was my buddy. My best friend. We have 5 cats that I absolutely adore. I love all of them equally….ish. Bootsy has a bit more special place in my heart because I rescued her. But none o my kits know that. I love my kitties! And they love me. And they show it! On the reg, dig?

But a dog? Such a different experience. I’m the pet with my menagerie. A dog is always the co-pilot, the sidekick if you will. Always cheering you on and everything you do is interesting and awesome. I miss that. But alas, I travel for a living and can’t saddle the wife with another responsibility when I’m home 3 days a week. Just wouldn’t be fair. But when I retire? Oh I’m getting like 6! LOL!

He was a very cool dog. It will be a lucky dog that finds its next home with you, Glamrock.

17. The first one made me cry. Just want to add, Greece is impressive with their treatment of street dogs and cats.

I met several wonderful dogs and saw an alley filled with cats dinning.
