Do you watch any foreign language tv series? Any you really like?

My husband and I watch a lot of foreign language movies and TV series, so I was wondering if y'all did too and if there are some we might be missing. As for us:

30 Coins (Spanish, Italian, French) 3 seasons
The Envoys (Spanish) 2 seasons, though the second season has been pulled and we can't find it.
Babylon Berlin (German) (If you haven't seen this...WATCH IT! 4 seasons, so far)
Dark (German) 3 seasons only
Beforeigners (Norwegian) 2 seasons only (very interesting)
Invisible City (Brazilian Portuguese) 2 seasons only
Smiley (Spanish) Sadly, only one season...VERY GAY
1899 (Multiple languages) Sadly, only one season
Zorro (Spanish) This is a 2024 release, only one season so far.
Yosi, the Regretful Spy (Spanish, Hebrew) Only 2 seasons
A Private Affair (Spanish) One season

It's a very timely series about a "soft" occupation of Norway by Russia to keep it from cutting off its oil supplies.

Astrid has Aspergers. Works with detective Raphaelle to solve crimes. Astrid has advanced insight.
French with subtitles. PBS on Prime.
Very surprising and you want another episode.

I just posted about Wisting on Amazon Prime. Nordic noir/serial killer show. I'm watching it now.

Also, Extraordinary Attorney Woo on Netflix (I think) is the most poetic legal drama I've ever seen. Just absolutely gorgeous.

Love love love this show. French, starring Celine Bois and Raphael Lenglet.

Season 9 ends on such a cliffhanger that, as much as I hate spoilers, I had to sneak a peak at season 10 on iMDb or I'd have been anxious until Acorn gets around to offering season 10.

I can only do that with glasses and when I am alert!

but I will check your suggestions, starting with the Norwegian one (my heritage) and the VERY GAY one (because, well, why not!)

...had Rai Uno & Rai Due. So, I'd watch those once in a while to see how well I could keep up transliterating.
But, they went to a separate tier & cost extra. Never paid to add that tier.
Other than that, I'd have to say no, I don't.

each a one-season miniseries. A young East German man is recruited to infiltrate the West German army. I've always been fascinated by "die ehemalige DDR" - the former East Germany - so this was catnip for me.

I've also enjoyed "Charite" about the Charite hospital in Berlin in different periods of its history. There's four seasons.
