I know I really got into it during COVID-19, when there was nothing to do after a hellish day in clinic but drink, and drown my sorrows.

I bought a bar book, shopped for the basics of a well-stocked bar, and eased the pain with Fridays filled with mirth, good company, and a generous measure of booze.

If you were in a boat that was sinking because the battery was too heavy and there was a shark 10 yards away, would you sink with the boat and get electrocuted or swim with the shark?

Ok, kidding. My real question:

Which is a better vacation spot--villa in Tuscany or five-star hotel in Florence, Italy? Why?

Quiet, solitude, serenity, mind-paralyzingly beautiful countryside, sublime food, and a peaceful joi de vivré.

After dinner drinks, two Sticky Hands DIPAs and a Rhodesian Sewage, Ouzo and Root beer. Soon it's bed time. And bus seats are comfortable after a few.
