6. A few years ago, there was a local store that sold socks in 3s.

It was called Mixies. The colors in the socks were the same, like pink, purple and yellow, or whatever, but the patterns were different - stars, hearts, and polka dots, etc. Intended to be mismatched. Very popular with tween and young teen girls at the time.
