(4,572 posts)A giant sized pickup truck with tractor worthy tires, never hauled any cargo except a flag collection, and of course blowing clouds of black smoke. Sorta weird and creepy both, and definitely cringe worthy.
Or, is that a category?

It's just weird and creepy to me - they have their reasons. Please don't tell me my post is woman hating or anything like that. It is just my personal repulsion of trying to imagine that practice - but people are free to do whatever is their own preference.

One time I ordered them at a restaurant and they were served in one piece, like all three segments still connected. I had never seen that before.
I ate them, but never ordered them in that restaurant again.

(23,375 posts)Interesting about clowns-- I never particularly cared for them (they certainly didn't make me laugh) but I never thought of them as creepy.

I don't understand it. Maybe I'm weird as well?

I guess so, since no one around here will do it.

Truly, deeply, weirdly creepy.
As is a guy asking his girlfriends father for permission to marry her. Sir, Id like to take your property and make her my property!
If I had a daughter, and some smarmy creep tried that with me, Id kick his creepy ass right out of my house.

The preachers freak me out, and then too the size of their congregations.
And so many of the preachers turn out to be sexual predators.
Add to this the whole discussion of being "washed in the blood of the lamb" and the nauseating obsession with the details of a horrific execution. I'm looking at you, Mel Gibson.
