She has multiple health problems, most notably fibromyalgia.
It's killing her, I was never close to her, but my Dad died in 2010, and my Mom died 4 years ago.
I have 4 sisters, and I don't want to lose one.

(46,665 posts)She's in horrible pain, and wants to die.
She won't kill herself, but I really feel for her.
When my parents were done having kids I had four sisters, only have the two youngest left. I'll be the next to go, I'm a bit older than them.
Hope you are able to do and say what you need to before she goes.

(25,026 posts)...have left, if possible, and to cherish all your sisters.
I was the older of 2 kids. My brother died way too young at only 23, in a scuba diving trip that went awry. I wish there had been more of us. My dad made it to 90 in 2011, and my mom to 98, by 2020.
Being the last one oleft of my family of origin sucks. The hardest part is not being able to share memories with anyone.

(11,596 posts)One brother, one sister, both older than me. They both suffered a lot. I dont know how it is nowadays for palliative care, they seem to have made it harder to get strong medicine. But I think at least with hospice they can bring the strong stuff.

I have Fibromyalgia. Somehow at the very beginning of 2017 (Jan) I discovered Kratom. It literally saved my life.
I had been taking all kinds of pain meds and was an addict to be out of the pain and also for the high. I honest to God have no idea how I discovered Kratom. It has completely alleviated the pain I experience from Fibromyalgia. I take six capsule in the morning and six in the afternoon (on a full stomach)....
Kratom: A Beginners Guide to Kratom
By: Erik Smith........"For hundreds of years, kratom has been a much revered traditional herbal medicine in the East because of its many amazing health benefits. It has been widely used as a stimulant to boost local workers' energy levels and help them become more productive. It has helped alleviate illnesses such as diarrhea, body pains, common colds, and flu. Ingesting kratom is known to help enhance moods as well as combat anxiety, stress, and depression. It has been used as an aid to cure addiction to opium."
In the West, independent studies have been conducted to prove its worth as a herbal medicine. There is proof that kratom is, indeed, a plant with multiple benefits.
