How dare they? Videos that ask "how are you?"

So stupid. Whoever the talking head on the audio or video is, they begin by asking "how are you?" As if they gave a feather or a fig? As if there were a chance in the whole wide world you you could respond.

Hello! It's pretty much an invitation to smack your brain up against a brick wall, an invitation to frustration.

No one will hear you. No one will care. It's among the stupidest questions of all time.

1. i have a standard answer for people who ask me how I am.

"I'm vertical" is my reply. Catches them off guard except for the regular people I interact with like grocery clerks I see every week or so.

reply, "Well, I haven't killed anybody...yet".
