I mean, it's good she's feeling better, not good she got the wrong meds.
That brother-in-law had a quack doctor too.
He was on epilepsy meds, but they weren't working right, so she just kept upping the dosage.
He never felt good, still had seizures, and was a zombie.
When he went to assisted living, that doctor weaned him off, changed the combination and that all worked well..
He felt better, he could carry on a conversation again, and the seizures were reduced in both frequency & severity.
That doctor was a total hack.

Not long term harm was done & I doubt her brother could have handled the rigors of the legal process.
Even depositions are stressful. I found myself stressed our during them and these were strictly technical issues as an expert witness.
My wife also has anxiety issues.
For us, it would have been counterproductive.
