She's feeling better, thankfully.
Turns out the quack she was seeing gave her the wrong medication.
She is planning to sue.

(69,681 posts)I mean, it's good she's feeling better, not good she got the wrong meds.
That brother-in-law had a quack doctor too.
He was on epilepsy meds, but they weren't working right, so she just kept upping the dosage.
He never felt good, still had seizures, and was a zombie.
When he went to assisted living, that doctor weaned him off, changed the combination and that all worked well..
He felt better, he could carry on a conversation again, and the seizures were reduced in both frequency & severity.
That doctor was a total hack.

(69,681 posts)Not long term harm was done & I doubt her brother could have handled the rigors of the legal process.
Even depositions are stressful. I found myself stressed our during them and these were strictly technical issues as an expert witness.
My wife also has anxiety issues.
For us, it would have been counterproductive.
