Al Sharpton. I wanted to see the fire breathing dragon... University has guest speakers at times, so when I was attending college, I went to see Al Sharpton. I wanted to see the fire breathing dragon that shows up on television... Not quite! He was articulate, logical, well spoken, and smooth. He got most of his publicity from television so he was that firebrand on tv... In real life he could be somebody that people could follow. He took questions from the audience on 3x5 cards and some of them were race baiting questions. He handled them smoothly. An excellent speaker when he does not have a television camera shoved in his face for publicity...
