My cat Sheba approached and bit the toe of someone I dated with no apparent provocation. She was right. He, the date, is ancient history. She only bit, unprovoked, one other time, targeting a crusty family member. Over 25 years gone, and I dreamed about her last night. 😢

At a former nabe I was at the laundromat. Standing near the open door, someone was walking their dog unleashed. Small, white, short, curly hair. We locked eyes.

It came running over to me, flopped over on it's back for belly scratches, and licked me. Then scampered back to it's person.
