https://postimg.cc/bZj9bpPJMeet Curtiss and Jenny! Theyre my sweet, little, teeny, tiny, baby St Bernard puppies!
Curtiss is 10 weeks old and quite a confident little man. Hes fuzzy and smooshy and his puppy breath is intoxicating!
Jenny is 5 months old and just scrumptious! Shes a bit more reserved than her little brother, but a very gentle, sweet, patient soul. Truly the best puppy Ive ever had. Jenny is already 65 pounds!
Their names are a nod to the Curtiss JN4, aka Jenny, airplane; the airplane that trained WW1 pilots and that is synonymous with barnstorming.

(2,363 posts)I had a st Bernard/ Akita mix and he was the most loyal caring sweetie I've ever had. He was a giant though. I've had many dogs including labs and a basinji, they were all great but the giant was the best I think. Except he was a real baby when it came to thunder or fireworks. The thunder shirt really helped.

(374 posts)There is something so gentle and confident about the giants. I had a bloodhound who was my caretaker during cancer treatment 14 years ago. She never left my side; good day, bad day, sick in bed all day, didnt matter, she securely kept me tucked by her side.
And then I got my first St Bernard. He was a sweet old man just looking for a retirement home. He worshipped and adored me
just for feeding him, giving him a soft bed to sleep in, and showering him with kind words. And after raising a teenage daughter and 25 years of marriage, I needed to be worshipped and adored again! Sam definitely made me fall in love with the Saints!
