Pneumonia vax: turns out you need 2 doses, didnt know that

Https://www.health.ny.gov/publications/2406/#:~:text=If%20you're%2065%20or%20older%2C%20you%20need%20two%20pneumococcal,disease%2C%20a%20serious%20bacterial%20infection.

You need 2 shots, a year apart. I got one last year, and was wondering if i need a booster. Yup, i got the prevnar-20 and that still needs a booster.

Just a heads up.

The older Pneumovax is a two-shot series and the older Prevnar (13 and 20).

(I’m a pharmacy tech and we rarely do the older ones anymore.)
