Just saw a truly funny T shirt

in a catalog. It had the words, "How to Identify Birds on top. Then pictures of a variety of birds. Only instead of saying cardinal, chickadee, blue jay... It just had the word bird under all of them. Then the last picture is of a squirrel and underneath it says , "not a bird." I love snarky humor!

What is bird poop?

One of them got a taste of their own medicine though on my bird feeder. It had just chased some finches away and was starting to eat when a huge red bellied woodpecker flew in, pecked at the Blue Jay's head, and chased it off. Karma. 😀

7. They deserve it! Really interesting thing about my woodpeckers.

They used to hit the suet and the formed bird food cages only. This year, they are eating out of the bird feeders...new behavior this year.
