Cat was bugging me in the wee hours this morning. Finally got back to sleep when I woke. I remembered the dream I was having and I was singing along on this song. I hardly ever remember dreams. I hope this was a good omen.

(726 posts)I don't always remember the dream, but there's always a song. Lately it's been the same one which is unusual. Robert Palmer singing "Every Kinda People". Wish I could put in requests, but the song that comes is often what helps me through the day. "Morning Has Broken" is a great song. I do hope it's a good omen for your day!

(92,385 posts)But I don't recall it ever being that song, though I like it.
A very long time ago my next younger sister, with whom I shared a bedroom, claimed I sang in my sleep, flawlessly. I remember singing in a dream, during one event she told me about, and then awaking a moment after but I wouldn't have known I was physically doing it without her account of it. Weird.
There's often some kind of music going on in my head so I usually wake up to something, not always popular song but something.

(1,001 posts)Occasionally it's an original (and usually silly) song I apparently make up in my dream.

Todays installment of Earworm Theater
I havent shaken it yet, obviously. If it gets to be too much, this is my palate cleanser
It never fails. Run this soundtrack through your internal playback thingie and all traces of stubborn earworm are replaced. Now that bass line is in my head
