(54,117 posts)It bothers me to see doctors do this but I suppose in a hospital or doctor's office setting you feel safer.
But out in the field, that's a completely unnecessary risk.

(18,870 posts)Tried to get into a bar without a necktie, and the bouncer refused to let him in. My friend went back to his car and wrapped his battery cable around his neck, return to the entrance.
The bouncer looked him up and down, then said, "I'll let you in. But don't try to start anything."
