I have the same adventures at night. I try to time my water pill so I can try to get another 3-4 hours of sleep.

Last night, I also slept through.

I think the trick is to be utterly exhausted. I know when I can't follow what Lawrence O'Donnell is saying, it is time for bed

I call it the tyranny of the bladder. It pretty much dictates my sleep and also my plans throughout the day. Gotta always know where a restroom is. It was hell during the pandemic when so much was closed, even fast food lobbies and park restrooms were closed.
