The artificially flavored 'spice' stuff they sell in the stores is another story. I have tried it and, to me, it was just cloying.

I'm still seeing the 2023 stuff on clearance shelves and at places like Ollies and Big Lots.

Oh great. Now I'm going to be thinking about baking a pie. I do make a very rich and spicy Dutch apple pie. Ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg and caramel.

Pumpkin spice baked goods taste too sweet and a bit artificial.
