Enjoying my first inter-employment Monday relaxing. Anybody want to hang out?

I’ve made a list of chores to get done around the house today. But there’s plenty of time for those.

Right now, just having breakfast, coffee, and TV.

I’m retired - different from being between jobs - but it’s just great to not wake up to an alarm in the morning.

But, right now, I have the dreaded C word and I am holed up in my house, trying to get comfortable enough to catch a nap or two, since I cannot sleep in the normal sense.

So, please have a nice hot cup with some Carolan's for me!

I am currently dealing with the fencing contractor from hell. I *think* he will finish today. I hope to be done with him!

It was, alas, a case of not vetting carefully enough. But a neighbor on Nextdoor posted a warning about him (the day after I gave him $1400) and has been helping me navigate things.

I washed a load of dishes today, and put them all away. Washed, dried, and folded a load of laundry, cleaned the kitchen, hosed down the front doorway and porch (several years-worth of cobwebs and schmutz), and cleaned the dryer lint caked on to the outlet at the side of the house.

Tomorrow: yard work.
