Do the Jimmy Dean Sausage commercials drive anybody else

crazy? The ones that start out, "I'm Jimmy Dean..."? He's been dead since 2010. And they use a photo of him when he was around 35.

If the ads weren’t working they’d have yanked him long ago. My wife and I do our old people best to lead a healthy lifestyle (exercise and food) but an occasional Jimmy Dean processed food breakfast is on the menu.

Not really the same at all. Sara Lee is using Jimmy Dean's actual image, likeness, and voice, which they purchased the rights to in 1984.

... before he died. They own his image, name, anything he ever recorded for them.

He's working for the man after he's dead and for free - not even residuals for the estate.
