Took the camera for a walk

I took the camera for a walk around Lancaster City yesterday. Mondays are slow but there were plenty of subjects to photograph.

Mondays are always laid back here. Come Friday the streets will be teeming with tourists.

8. Lancaster is the street piano capital of the world!

The Music For Everyone Foundation annually places public pianos throughout the city with its Keys For The City program. There are 20 pianos this year, many of them hand painted by local artists.

I might try to document some more of them before they're put away of the winter.

Great things to see, but it takes the artist to capture and share.
I love them all, but the street sweeper is perhaps my favorite.
