after talking with a friend who mannaged cotteges . saftey is the better part of valor. even though i am at my wits end . i will not confront the person as i mentioned before. i dont want to fall into temptaion and sin and or say something that i may regret or have him call the police on me . riight now i dont want to loose my living situation that i have been in for going on 18 years this november . if i can find other arraingments i will bail. but for now common sense and logic will prevail. i am going out with my health care worker and going shopping . for lunch i will get a burger . fries and a chocolate shake to celebrate my sundays birthay. i celebrate all month. off i go into my day and thanks for listening . go our candidate for prez and veep. have a grand day everyone.

(23,553 posts)negative experiences experienced w/ that person, perhaps get witnesses too, and then if and when it comes to a head, you have documentation. Someone else on this trend also suggested using your phone too, to record stuff.
Good luck w/ your situation.

(156 posts)I lived above two very strange men who banged on their ceiling any time I moved because the floors creaked (old building, not a weight problem ). It made it very hard to just enjoy a quiet evening at home, I couldn't help always being braced for the intrusion. They were the building supers!
I was luckier than you, though, because I discovered this mess right off the bat and knew from the start that I would not renew my lease. If you had been happy there for a long time before this person started harrassing you, that is extra hard.
