Northern Lights in Marietta, Oh. last night

I went out to look, but my view to the north is the worst. My local daughter got some great pictures. My daughter in Maryland sent a pic this morning. The lights aren't as vivid, but I think she caught 2 shooting stars in the pic she sent.

I'm going to look for the comet tonight, supposed to be low on the horizon in the west, just after sunset

We are very much in the woods, so we have to leave the city to see the horizon. Or haunt a neighbor's view property.

I think the best viewing in our state was along the coast last night. Several friends that posted photos were on the north or mid-coast.
