Aurora borealis last night

Seen from my neighborhood. Not my photo, but taken by a neighbor.
I usually go look outside before going to bed--to see if there's a pretty moon--but didn't last night. Kicking myself for not going out!
This was Durham, NC.

we had clouds here.

Funny, for the several years that I lived in Alaska, I was only able to catch them up there once. They are spectacular.
