(2,527 posts)One of our other dogs is a whirling dervish when it's time for the bowls to go down, and Kirby wanted to join in. He started with one spin, then for a long time it was 3 spins (often still is), then he moved to 4 spins. His record is 8 in a row, but he mostly stays with 3 or 4. Decided to do it on his own!

She also puts her head and front paws down on the ground and sticks her butt up in the air so Ill scratch it. I call it her downward dog.

(24,905 posts)Never could teach her to flush it, though. After she finished, she would run through the house like her tail was on fire.
I still have a picture of her seated on the toilet doing it; she got very indignant about me violating her privacy to take that photo--wouldn't speak to me for a couple days.
