This was taken at Ellicott Creek Trailway sometime in early October 2022.

3. Beautiful pic that captures a contrast between...

thick dark NYS cloud cover and the colorful changing of the leaves. Reminds me of the prelude to winter in this part of the country. I love the fall...before the snow flies.

I live in NYS, and I am used to heavy snow, often before Halloween. The cold weather is holding off this year, but it ALWAYS arrives eventually! I am always optimistic about low snowfall amounts for the impending winter, but I'm usually wrong.

6. Not every day is bright and sunny is it, Lucky?

Last year we had a green Christmas here in Buffalo . I don't think we got snow until January, but we had some dark days all the same.

7. You know why

it wasn't my photo? Because it would have my finger or thumb obscuring part of the image!

I'm actually much better these days, but back when disposable cameras were a thing, I used to get too many pictures back from Walmart or wherever and my finger or thumb would make an uninvited appearance, ruining them!

9. I remember those days

as I did the same exact thing.


Although it didn't happen very often, I remember get double exposures as well.
