One Valentines Day one season I got worn out with all the back and forth on posts about valentines and hearts, they were overwhelming regular comment. So I blocked them.

After a while I just found this word to be irritating. Which is a bit unusual for me, because I generally don't let minor stuff bother me. It just came across as a bit elitist which I'm sure was not the poster's intention. I don't even remember who it was.

Talking about food, especially food that I can't consume can really annoy me. I generally go on intermittent fasting periods too so most of the time I don't want to talk about food.

I hate Star Wars so the May 4th thing is super annoying to me.

I hate NFL and football.

I hate it when people attempt to tell me where I can and can't shop. I work for my paycheck and I'll shop where I want to. I also hate it when people push dis-savings stores like Aldi's. I've told people in person that they need to stop pushing Aldi's and why.

I don't understand the war/genocide that's happening in Gaza-Israel and I'm not going to pretend that I understand what's happening because I don't. Fighting about it on DU isn't going to solve the situation. Palestine is listed twice because apparently it didn't take the first time.

I hate it when people complain and whine about certain commercials and certain TV channels. There's a solution...turn the TV off!

I also hate it when people marginalize people that have tattoo's. Don't like tattoo's? Don't get one, problem solved.

all of them in aid of reducing the number of animal related and "bad cop" posts I need to wade through.

I like animals as much as the next guy, but I'd sooner spend more time with Lily and Tosca than reading about or watching videos about other people's pets.

I suppose I similarly dislike bad cops, too.

This makes me sound like a cranky curmodgeon. While that's probably true, I mainly come to DU for news, political information, commiseration, snarky humor, science and anthropology info. I have no interest in cat videos and the like.
