Northern Minnesota. The local game warden gave the resort owner two teenage daughters a fawn to raise. For two years the guests at the resort enjoyed petting the friendly deer. The third year I asked one of the daughters where is the deer? She angrily tells me about this asshole who lives nearby shot the deer on the first day of hunting season.

So a few days before Tday, I saw a small fawn across the street leaning against my neighbor's fence. Then a few days afterwards, I was told that there was a dead fawn in my flower bed. One sweet man asked me if it was just sleeping. For 8 or more hours??? That nice man got one of his nice friends to haul it away. My question is did it die because no mom. ??? What are the rules on this?
