I don’t have any sense of smell though. Probably due to smoking and breaking my nose 4 or 5 times when I was a kid. I ran into things - first baseman, elementary schools, trees, catching a football with my face, etc.

living 20 years in a nursing home I found a Christmas tree decoration that smelt of Christmas spices and got it for her.

that I could sell them to a butcher for meat, I would sell their wool but not them. They were not pets. but sources of food. I gave up on the idea.. I guess we are both alike.

...I use cinnamon in so much of my cooking, I don't think of it as a holiday smell.
But, it is a great aroma!
