(4,438 posts)4. I was stuck in a small traffic jam on a two-lane road that ran by a lake....
and when I got finally reached the center of the jam, I saw what was holding up the traffic. A female mallard had been hit and killed by a car, and her mate was standing over her and would not move. He ignored the horns blowing and people shouting. Cars had to go into the other lane to go by.
Glad your story had a happy ending.
