Eating healthier lately. Lots of nuts, pecans walnuts...just as planned 😏

More nuts in my diet lately 😍😏😎

I wonder if it matters……

ALL those pecans and walnuts are surrounded by some tasty
caramel and milk chocolate too 😗😉😍

Oh!, and some are even surrounded by some healthy Dark Chocolate 🥹😉

I’M GOING TO BE SO HEALTHY NOW !!! 😝

Sort of a Paleo/keto diet. Even with a recovery for a broken ankle, I've dropped 70 lbs since last May and have seen a big improvements in my health.

I have indeed been improving my diet and exercise

I try to eat healthy, but I slip out of that quest a little now and then

Try to eat….

Salmon
Avocados
Nuts, walnuts, almonds
Berries, blueberries, strawberries ONLY organic

Healthy CHEESE like Emmental Swiss type, has low salt

No more deli meats,,, too much salt
BBQ Only once every 60 days
No Bacon, except maybe once every couple of months.

In-house prepared Turkey, so almost no salt either

Restricting eating any processed foods
Never any soft drinks..NONE

A lamb chop or two once a month to fight off anemia risk

Salads…… that I make, Organic
No dressing except Oil/Vinegar
Lots of avocado, pears, peach, tomatoes, berries, apples apricots, etc ALL ORGANIC

Citrus about once a week,,, Madarin oranges, Heirloom oranges when available, grapefruit
(can’t seem to find any Ruby Red Grapefruit anymore 😡

And Oat Meal and Cream of Wheat

And Organic Oat Bran Flakes,,, ARROWHEAD (Texas)

Don’t know how I got there 😜

I was eating a char grilled burger w/ cheese lettuce tomato and Mayo
With some tater tots and a great ice cold Root Beer served in a mug

Damn tasty too😉

You can just order in Keto style at Carl's Jr. On Keto since cheese is allowable and Mayo ( in theory). It comes in a lettuce wrap w/out ketchup. Ive forgotten if they leave on the mayonnaise if the sandwich had it to begin with.
At McDonald's I'll order a quarter pounder deluxe with out buns, or ketchup, and with extra lettuce. It come in a little container with a knife and a fork. The deluxe has a little Mayo.
Keto purists say that it must be a Keto mayonnaise, which I use at home, but I don't sweat eating a little normal mayo now and then. I eat so little of it. If I'm near home, I eat there and put some sugar free ketchup on it

However, no fries, or soda, diet or otherwise. Maybe an unsweetened ice tea or a coffee, black, or with just cream (allowable on Keto). I dont use any sweeteners, either regular or artificial
