Decarcerate PA Activists March 100 Miles to Protest New Prisons [VIDEO]

This is a video from my new Internet newscast, the only grassroots progressive media show exclusively about Pennsylvania politics, Counterpoint PA.

In this video, I talk about the activist group Decarcerate PA which rallied first in Philadelphia and then marched over 100 miles to rally in Harrisburg to protest against hundreds of millions of dollars being spent on new prisons while funding for other priorities like education, health care, and social services is being slashed. It includes a video clip of the Philadelphia rally and images from the Harrisburg rally, with quotes from PA state Representatives who spoke at the latter.

Stay tuned throughout this week and next week for two more PA Headlines, The Breakdown which will feature an up-close look at a Democratic PA gubernatorial candidate's positions who I got to question personally, and of course, Counterpoint PA's homage to Keith Olbermann: the Worst Pennsylvanians of the Week.
