Propaganda Debunking
Related: About this forumFour Days Ago, "Joe the Plummer" endorsed Trump
What really gets me about this is that in his endorsement, the celebrity often called Joe the Plummer that skyrocketed to fame during the 2008 presidential elections due to an encounter with then soon to be President Barack Obama, stated that he supports Donald Trump because so many Americans are afraid to say what is on their minds, but Donald Trump actually does. What caused me to smirk a little about this is the notion the notion that people on the right are seen as being afraid to say what they think. Joe the Plummer has, if anything, been exalted to a position of prominence despite being clearly misinformed on issues such as immigration and guns, and not being afraid to show how misinformed he is. He owes his whole political status solely on public outbursts stating that we should build a wall and open fire on people on the other side of the border and callously referring to the murdered children of a shooting rampage as "your' dead kids". This guy hasn't been stopped from saying anything he wants no matter how stupid it is. He's been rewarded for doing so, as has Donald Trump.
