Besides, moving is expensive and don't they have to fulfill residence requirements first?

I was polite to her and just let it go. I think it's urban legend. I can see moving ONCE for family reasons etc. But repeatedly ? Welfare queen stuff aka Reagan.

I've never been on welfare, although I have had small children. And even though I was reasonably well off at that point, we only moved when a job required it. I was always amazed at how much a move actually cost.
