Black Men Killed by Police

I'm putting this here and clicking my journal so I can find it when needed. Note Armand Bennett on the bottom who is still alive, but was shot in the head (no idea what kind of condition he is in currently). It says the cop turned off the camera. So, I think when we make recommendations that cops wear cameras 24/7 - that these are cameras that do not get turned off. Smh.

Is this barely touches the surface.

This has been going around twitter for a few weeks. It's an eye opener.

Thanks for posting!

Communication is better now - we have the internet, we can research, we can tell our stories. Think of how many cases through the years that were just covered up locally.

Did you ever hear of the massacre in Tulsa Ok in the early 20s? The river was filled with the bodies of those people murdered and I never heard about it until I was in my 30s when I met the publisher of the black newspaper there.

It's very interesting that it has always been referred to as "The Tulsa Race Riots" which makes it sound as if it was the black people rioting, not the white. It should have called racial genocide by whites.
