X post in Labor & GD
Last Thursday we made history!
Video: https://www.facebook.com/video.php?v=10152416655007680
Thousands of workers in nearly 200 cities across the country went ON STRIKE in the largest fast food strike in history.
And it wasn't just fast food--home care, airport, convenience store, and other low-wage workers in dozens and dozens of cities came together and joined the Fight For $15, too.
Our message is clear: All workers deserve a living wage and the right to join a union without retaliation.
We've never been stronger, and we're closer than ever to winning.
Click here to watch and share this amazing strike recap video to show that you support a living wage of $15 and union rights for low wage workers.
After you're done being inspired, sign our petition to add your name to the growing Fight For $15 movement.
We can't wait to tell you what's next.
In solidarity,
Guillermo Lindsey, Minneapolis fast food worker
Shaquonica Johnson, Minneapolis home care worker
Abera Siyoum, Minneapolis airport worker

Either way - there is no dignity in work if it is degrading, humiliating and exploitative. Either way comes from working together!

This is why Texas is fighting Obama so hard on Immigration Reform. Illegal immigrants allow them to exploit everyone.
