Almost 7,000 USW members working in oil refineries and chemical plants—including at the Shell and Motiva facilities in Norco and Convent, Louisiana are striking to demand that the oil industry to bargain fairly with workers and implement lifesaving improvements in refinery safety, fatigue management, and staffing.

On Friday, March 13 oil workers from across Louisiana will take the fight from the picket lines to the oil industry’s front door with a demonstration at One Shell Square in New Orleans.
