So has anyone ever considered starting a sellers group on DU to sell items to other DUers? (Original Post) wyldwolf May 2019 OP

I have list of things folks are asking about and add those to my list. Also love trades. Great idea.

They sell for less on Ebay so I often pass on them at garage sales / thrift stores. Boxed sets still do pretty well, though.

So now I'm a "I know it when I see it" kind of seller. Vintage magazines, cookbooks, vintage toys, TV/movie memorabilia, political memorabilia...

of Peek a boo drinking glasses for $10 at a yard sale. When filled with a drink the girls dresses come off. Complete set of 12 in shipping box. Vintage late 50s or early 60s. Way cool.

"minisbyrenee.com" I do hand made and hand painted miniature furniture for collectors only as they are expensive. Just started so not much may be on at this moment but the website would explaine and shows my past work.

I'm involved in a lot of custom action figure / custom Barbie groups. My daughter and I make OOAK Superhero figures. Your product reminds me of some of the items I've seen marketed to custom fashion doll makers and collectors

Don't be offended: One of the biggest markets on etsy is custom fetish furniture and items for Barbies. Are yours suitable for 12" dolls?

Actual selling software where orders can be placed from DU instead of going offsite to Ebay, etc.

Just a thought. I'm sure there are plenty of pros and cons to it.

vBulletin that I think are what you're talking about. I had one set up on my now closed vBulletin forum that worked fairly well and I'm confident that Elad's skills are up to adapting or creating a similar one here if he had the time and interest but, as you said, there are plenty of pros and cons to it.".

most members hang out in the main areas where the action is.

Had you known about that group or posted to it before you ran across this? If not, why not and there's one answer.

Not judging anyone's choices since while I've explored the various groups, and subscribe to and know there's some truly very cool ones, I tend to hang out mostly watching "Latest Threads" scroll by.
