Sometimes people "dump" collectibles while they're still hot

Case in point: Garage sale this weekend had several hundred Funko Pops for $5 each. That's all that most are worth - losing more than 50% of their original price... except a few that can sell for more than $2K!

No, I didn't find any of THOSE... but I did get:

Batman Twoface Imposter and Metallic Spiderman - both worth $150+

Funko Pops are still a hot collectible.

I had no idea, I only have 2 Funko pops that my wife got for me years ago.
After seeing your post I checked on ebay and the price for one of them surprised me, asking between 90 to 150.

Pretty cool.

are a few that sell for big bucks. Sadly, none of the ones in my box were any of those, but you never know what you might find. I've never even heard of Funko Pops. I'll have to look it up.

I'll scan the solds on ebay so they're implanted in my brain. LOL.

7. I decided to clear out half a shelf and sell them individually at a modest price.

The shop I sell at is in a town that has lots of tourist traffic. Many of them browse around and pick up something cheap as a souvenir of their trip. The figurines seemed perfect for that. I only paid $20 for the lot of them.
