Question friends, what would you do?

I am selling a lifetime of simple and better antiques. Getting down to the end of the stuff. I am planning to sell my house and move to a smaller place.
No room for some of these special things. My kids do not want the following.

I have ---last count-- a 144 piece set of Nippon China. It is a service of 12 with many pieces like platters, covered and open bowls. demitasse cups and saucers, cold(with saucers) and hot soup bowls, Tea and coffee service with saucers, sugar and creamer,
dinner plates, luncheon, dessert plates and bowls--too much to list.
Years ago I contacted Replacements Ltd and they were not interested because they had a set. Now they seem to have very little and much of what they offer is stuff they made out of odd pieces.
I don't really know how to dispose of this quantity.

My e-Bay person does not yet know about it. Can you imagine wrapping all this for shipping?
Any advice as to what to do with all of this?

Suggestions would be appreciated. I have one of the bowls illustrated below(eBay) plus much more. At the time I contacted R/Ltd, what they had was selling at over $4000.00 and they did not have all that I have.
Dealt with them before? What were your results? Please take a look.

1. I would try replacements ltd again

If they have less stock now, they might want what you have. I have had good luck with them in years past, selling my Wedgwood and Towle.

Or, if the tax deduction would be useful to you, you could donate to a charity auction, getting a receipt for full value.

2. Maybe your ebay seller would piece it out rather than sell the whole set.

Buyers might pay a premium for rarer pieces. They're really pretty, but the market has changed so much for china, it's hard to know how to value it.
