eBay sales have been really slow, but
My Mall sales have been great lately. The last few years have been a great time to buy and a terrible time to sell. Now that is changing and I'm all set with hoard of merchandise in my out buildings. I've even been selling glass lately.

(34,093 posts)only one on eBay. I bought a barrel of deer antlers for for $25 at a yard sale. The guy was thrilled to dump them all at once and Ive made well over $100 so far with lots of them left. Also did the same with a box of old cameras. Guy took $20 for all. These were all old film cameras that people use for display. Old box cameras and Brownies, did sell an old Nicon and A few SLRs in the group for $25 each. LPs from 70s and 80s going out the door. Sold some brown furniture that have sat there too long. Lots on just wired conversation items, my favorites. One old medical vibrator from the 20s and the usual wall hanging primitives. Old musical instruments, guitars mostly.
I have so much fun, Im just thrilled to break even on my total cost. Lately doing way better than that.
Thursdays, Fridays and some Saturdays, I get up very early and drive many miles looking for deals.

(47,016 posts)Sell-through rate is about 2.9% Only new items get noticed. I switched one item from one ID to another and it sold second time listed. Also I wonder what's going on: had an item listed for $10, with a best offer. It has 24 hours to go. Guy offers me $60. I accept. The deal went through, no complaints yet, but don't call me not worried. Why would anyone offer 6 times what an item will close for in 24 hours? Did eBay show him a $85 price so he submitted a best offer? I have no idea. It all makes no sense.

If who ever is buying it ask more questions about payment than than about the item, I drop them like a rock.
