1. We all learn expensive lessons. I remember, in particular, when I was in a frugal state of mind

and went to a yard sale. There were lots of interesting things there, but I decided I should buy only 1 of the 2 items I was looking at. As I recall, each was priced at $25. I opted for a Blenko glass fish because I knew it was worth a couple of hundred bucks or so. I should have bought the weird vase I was looking at by a California artist whose name I can't recall at the moment. It was worth 3 or 4 times what that stupid fish was worth. From that time on, I decided if I "had a feeling," just buy whatever the thing was. Guess that's why I've got a pile of unidentified stuff I still think might have value but don't have a clue who made them.
