"The lonely mermaid sat on the rock that had become her favorite place to perch. She could see the village lights from there and sometimes she heard music.
On this night, the moon was high and bright, but she didn't worry about being seen because if anyone came she would slip into the water without a ripple, so imagine her surprise when someone cleared their throat. She had heard from an elder about these elusive and so beautiful creatures but never thought she would see one with her very own eyes!
A lovely rainbow shaded unicorn stood there. " Are you real?" she asked in a trembly voice.
